the T-handle on my sons baseball equipment bag pulled off, I sent Boombah pictures of the failure, and the stuck wheels, and the holes in the bottom of the bag (thin material), they said bag is out of warrantee, (12 months ) so I asked to pay for new T-handle assembly so the bag can be repaired and used, they said not available, would need to purchase a new bag, I think I will do just that, but not another Boombah product.

after all the bags we have purchased from this company... coming from a business owner myself the customer service is very tacky!
Missed Opportunity
It is a shame that this company isn't more adequately run. Their customer service is horrendous and they cannot do simple customizations such as vertical text that they clearly use for their own Boombah name on most items.
It is such a good opportunity to provide custom gear for a LOT of teams but they can't handle inventory well enough for that either.
Especially shoes. Overall, I will not recommend and I'll be looking for an alternative to pop up and I will support them 100 percent over Boombah.

Working
Our sons baseball bag handle pulled right off we have not even had this bag for a year yet. When I contacted the company I was told I need to send a video and I did.
Then was told there is nothing to be done it was not covered by warranty. Vary upsetting after spending tons of money on there equipment for it to not even last a year.
Unable to purchase new front flap for Boombah Super Bat Pack
I just went through the same issue with my daughter's Super Bat Pack. She loves the bag and when she got it for Christmas, the first thing we did was have her name embroidered on the front panel.
When she recently made All Stars she wanted to have the team logo embroidered on a new front panel. But a call to Boombah quickly squashed that idea.
Frustration and disappointment aside, it seems like lost revenue for Boombah, which doesn't make good business sense. Extra front panels could be sold as an accessory and based on the comments below, there is clearly a market for them.
I guess Boombah's approach is to hope the customer will simply buy a new bag for $70. Well, I'm not going to do that. And I will have to seriously consider weather I will buy another bag from Boombah when that time comes again.

I contacted boombah over a Boombah Superpack that was purchased at Academy Sports hoping to get a repair or some sort of help for a bag that had only been used for a month and a half and had durabilty issues. They would not help at all and said that there was nothing they could do and it would have to be taken up with Academy Sports.
This company won't be around long if they continue to ignore their own customer like this. HORRIBLE customer service.
I will NEVER purchase another Boombah product. I have two softball playing daughters and although I had recommended their products in the past, that will no longer be the case either.

Super Bat Packs
I outfitted our entire team with new Boombah bags and helmets. The embroiderer made a mistake and I called Boombah to order a replacement pocket cover.
Much to my surprise, they informed me they do not carry replacement pocket covers for that bag and my only option was to reorder a new bag. Their excuse was that the pockets would not fit other bags, but that makes no sense because the first thing anyone does is take all the pockets to the embroiderer and put them on the bags when they are finished, having no idea which bag they originally came from. I like the looks of their products, but should have paid more attention to the negative reviews.
Now I am stuck with a perfectly good bag I can't use and have to decide whether to place an additional order. Shame on them.

Boombah is extremely inflexible and difficult to work with. I contacted them literally 5 minutes after placing an order to let them know that I realized I ordered the wrong bags.
I ordered over $1,000 worth of merchandise, and have spend thousands with them over the last year. They care nothing about keeping a customer or providing decent service. They had ample time to stop my order before it shipped, but instead, they allowed it to ship and want me to pay to ship it back to them for a refund. They don't even have a toll free number to call for customer service.
What kind of operation are they running?
I will NEVER make the mistake of giving my money to such a shady company again. Buyers beware!

Jackets - back order from the dark hole of backorders
I've been in contact with Boombah 6 months to get additional jackets to match jackets that we purchased before. Jackets are backordered.
Noone can tell me when the back ordered jackets will be in so I can buy more. Really? You can't tell me when YOUR JACKETS will be in stock? C.S.
Rep emailed me an order estimate, then it expired (because they have none in stock to buy), so she sent me another estimate, and the cost went up.. AND THEY STILL DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE PRODUCT IN STOCK FOR PURCHASE. I then get an email that they expect jackets to be in, in 2 weeks. A month later, a new C.S Rep tells me they have no idea when they will be in, and probably should find something else.
Oh I will, but not from Boombah. NEVER EVER WILL I DO BUSINESS AGAIN.

I coach a 12U travel team. I decided to cut costs for everyone and recycle last years 12U Boombah bags to save everyone money.
I emailed Boombah about replacement panels which I offered to pay for. Their response was they are not available to order panels from their manufacturer. They also stated the panels may not fit correctly. I'm going to call BS on both counts.
When the old 12U coach had the panels embroidered he didn't mark which panel came off which bag, and guess what when he had the panels embroidered they fit exact. I see how Boombah works they want you to drop $70 on a new bag instead of offering an ounce of customer service. It's not a big deal I'll just take all the panels off.
I ordered Demarini bags for my team last year had a couple issues and they were more than willing to make everything right. One thing for certain I'll never order anything from Boombah again!
Just Don't
Just a horrible experience all the way around. Ordered custom jerseys for my team and spent $900.00.
Jerseys came and literally every single one was tight on all the guys. Boombah response was "Our measurements are on the website". What a crock, if your measurements aren't a typical size we have here in America then there should be some warning instead of hiding behind this load of ***. To top it off all the guys bought pants and again every single one of them were too small and you end up spending money shipping items back and forth.
35 dollar pair of pants have doubled in price with shipping by the time I got the right pair. How do you argue with pant sizes?
38 inches is 38 inches! Just stay away from this company it only leads to frustration and wasted money.

Brutal policy
Bought a bunch of stuff online; shipping was pricey to canada but i know I liked the product from owning a pair of their pants. Got everything in and the shirt basically came down to my knees.
No way; I could wear it anywhere. Contacted customer service and because I live in canada; I have to pay for shipping back to the States which is like 25$. Then I'd have to order a new shirt and pay shipping and handling back which is another 35$ then pay for the shipping slip; another 5.99.
Absolutely no help whatsoever...all they say is "I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do." Ok; I spent a bunch of cash and all you're telling me is "I understand your frustration." Brutal. Don't order anything from them if you live in canada because the return policy doesn't work north of the border.

Boombah should get there heads out there *** and have a point system for some kind of reward once you spend so much money. Military discount ever heard of that or is it to much considering its coming from china. I have spent money and more money, quit being so *** greety and reward your customers without them you dont have a pot to *** in.
Absolutely ridiculous!
Paid over $1200 for 11 baseball jerseys. The day before my order was supposed to ship I got a call saying they RAN OUT OF PANTS FOR MY ORDER and had to order more, which would take about a week.
FINALLY I received an email saying my order had shipped. It's been three days, I just tried to track it on UPS and the order has not even been shipped yet. So here I am, 3 weeks into the 8 week season, out $1200, make multiple phone calls and still do not have uniforms for my team. Absolutely ridiculous!
And they refused to refund me anything for this HUGE inconvenience.
I do not recommend buying anything from this company! Our team planned to order customer warm ups and matching bag, but there's not chance whatsoever I'll spend another penny with this company.

I have placed softball orders from this company and a few t shirt orders too. Everything runs small and most of the time if I buy clearance it isn't worth sending back.
I just take it to resale and get a portion of my money back. When Boombah expanded to volleyball products and I saw a package deal for shoes, bag and knee pads I thought I would give it a try. WARNING to all volleyball parents out there. If it seems to good to be true it probably is AND order from a reputable volleyball company like Mizuno or someone who will stand behind their products and returns.
The website wouldn't allow you to add the package. I submitted the code and it did not calculate correctly. I was told that although it says KneePAD and not PADS that it was a set. If you did through the description you can find it says sold in set but the photo is not a set nor the wording.
Anyhow, my daughter put the advanced set together and says she doesn't feel comfortable wearing it. There is no flap to hold the green pad in the sleeve. And if she slid she is afraid it would move and come out. I tend to agree it is not a great design.
Now I have 2 of these poorly designed sets for a incorrect price.
I would pay an ungodly amount to return them. I will make sure that although I 'shared' this 'sale' with the team that I will swiftly 'share' my poor experience and even worse customer service experience with the team also.

It’s unfortunate that they don’t sell the flaps. I would of bought 2.
My boys bags are in good condition but they are now on a different team. Guess they’re stuck with the embroidery from their 1st team.
Agreed we had the same issue and clearly we are not the first. We were so disappointed that Boombah would not work with us we have bought 4 bags from them.
Apparently this is a very common occurrence. Their answer is total BS.
Our team purchased 48 bags and when they came in all of the flaps were removed to embroidering, when they came back we did not know what flap when with what bag and they all fit just fine. If you can, I suggest staying selecting another product!
